Make note: the annual meeting changed to Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Coto Valley Club.
Due to a printing delay, the recent Annual Meeting mailings were not mailed to the membership prior to the 30-day deadline required by the Civil Code. The mailings were sent only 29 days in advance. Therefore, to ensure that the Annual Meeting is held properly and in accordance with the law, and upon the advice and consent of the Association’s legal counsel, the Annual Meeting is being moved to October 17 to satisfy the Civil Code’s 30-day notice requirement.
The ballot you received in the first mailing is valid and should be completed as instructed. This Ballot will then be processed by the Inspector of Election at the meeting held on October 17, 2012. All information contained within the Ballot with respect to the candidates and their statements of candidacy are accurate. The only change will be the day in which the Annual Meeting will be held.
The regularly scheduled board of directors meeting has also been moved to October 17 to coincide with the Annual Meeting.
