Public County Meeting on December 7 for Sub-Dividing Lyon Estate

The Orange County Public Works Department is hosting a public scoping meeting on December 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bell Tower Community Center in Rancho Santa Margarita to hear from the public about the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed subdivision of the Lyon Estate on Coto de Caza Drive.

Bill Lyon is seeking to subdivide his 138 acre estate and create a new housing tract with 25 single family homes and 3 open lots on 64 acres.

The Public Works department is asking for public input regarding appropriate topics for analysis to be included within the Draft EIR. All comments must be received within the comment period established as November 18 through December 18.
